Acceptable Use Policy

Please review our guidelines to ensure a safe, stable, and high-performance environment for all users.

Last Updated: June 2026

1. Purpose

Compliance with this Acceptable Use Policy is mandatory for all users to ensure the stability, security, and integrity of our shared hosting infrastructure. By adhering to these guidelines, we create a more reliable and secure environment for everyone to build and grow their projects successfully.

2. Prohibited Activities

Users must not engage in illegal activities, malware distribution, phishing, network abuse (including DDoS attacks), or unauthorized cryptocurrency mining. These restrictions are in place to prevent network degradation and protect the hosting environment for all our clients.

3. Email and Communication Policies

Strictly no dissemination of bulk unsolicited emails (Spam). All mailing lists must utilize a double opt-in mechanism with verifiable proof of consent. We strongly recommend using reputable email marketing platforms to manage your campaigns, which helps ensure higher deliverability and compliance with global anti-spam regulations.

4. Resource Usage

Users must not exceed allocated bandwidth or storage limits, or utilize excessive CPU/memory resources that destabilize the host node for other tenants. If your application requires more resources, please reach out to our support team; we are happy to assist you in scaling your plan to fit your needs.

5. Account Security

You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials, root passwords, and SSH keys. Failure to maintain account security may result in temporary administrative holds. We highly encourage the use of strong, unique passwords and multi-factor authentication (MFA) to prevent unauthorized access.

6. Content Responsibility

Users retain full responsibility for all content, data, and software hosted on their servers. ILHAMServers.com acts as a neutral service provider, meaning the integrity and legality of the data stored on our servers rests entirely with the account owner.

7. DMCA and Copyright Compliance

We enforce strict notice-and-takedown procedures for copyright infringements. Valid notifications of infringement will result in the disabling of access to infringing content, and we provide you with the opportunity to review and address any issues brought to our attention.

8. Zero Tolerance for Exploitation

We maintain a zero-tolerance policy regarding the hosting of any content related to the sexual exploitation of minors. Discovery of such content results in immediate service termination and reporting to the appropriate legal authorities without exception.

9. Cooperation with Law Enforcement

We cooperate fully with valid legal requests and court orders issued by authorized regulatory bodies. We strive to balance this cooperation with your privacy rights while ensuring full compliance with local and international law.

10. No Tampering

Users must not interfere with the security features or administrative controls of our infrastructure. If you encounter a technical limitation or need assistance with a specific configuration, please contact us; we are here to help you solve it the right way.

11. Billing, Payment, and Disputes

To maintain a secure and trusted payment environment, we require clients to contact our support team to resolve billing issues before opening a dispute or chargeback with PayPal or their credit card issuer. Opening an unauthorized dispute or chargeback is considered a violation of this policy and may result in the immediate administrative suspension of services while the issue is investigated.

12. Service Suspension (Administrative Safeguard)

We reserve the right to temporarily suspend services as a protective measure if an account is flagged for unauthorized behavior, network abuse, or payment issues. Our goal is always to keep you informed, and service restoration typically occurs quickly once the issue is resolved cooperatively.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ILHAMServers.com from all claims, damages, or losses arising from your use of the services or breach of this policy. This agreement helps us maintain a sustainable service for all users by minimizing the risk of third-party litigation.

14. Backups and Data Loss

While we implement robust infrastructure, users are ultimately responsible for maintaining independent backups of their data. We cannot be held liable for data loss caused by user error, script vulnerabilities, or unforeseen hardware failures. Please utilize off-site backup solutions for mission-critical data.

15. Force Majeure

We are not liable for service interruptions caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as natural disasters, regional infrastructure outages, or acts of war. We are committed to transparency and will keep you updated through our status channels should such unforeseen circumstances arise.

16. Monitoring and Enforcement

We actively monitor network traffic and hardware metrics to maintain compliance and stability. Severe or repeat violations of this policy may result in service termination and forfeiture of remaining prepaid service time, though we prioritize working with users to resolve minor issues before they escalate.
